WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 27 – OCTOBER 3 (Mark 11:22-24)
Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. “Have faith in God,” or have the God kind of faith. “Have faith in God” is a direct command. But even bigger, Jesus is not commanding us to use our natural, human faith. He’s making available to us His faith – THE FAITH OF GOD. The only correct answer to that command and offer is, “Yes, Sir! I believe. I will. I take it. I have it. I thank You, and I forgive” (verse 25). Jesus is the Author and Finisher (developer) of our faith. God’s own faith was born into us when we accepted and made Jesus LORD of our lives, and by the work of the Holy Spirit we were born again. We were born of the Spirit of our Father, of the same seed – the incorruptible seed of the WORD of God – as Jesus, our covenant Brother.

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 20 – 26 God creates with words. He created Adam in His own image with words of dominion. Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion…, over all the earth….” (Genesis 1:26).
In Adam, He reproduced Himself. God gave Adam His own authority over everything on this planet and crowned him with His glory. What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:4-5) God created Adam to rule – a living speaking spirit, like his Creator. God never changes. He used the same process by which He created Adam to create Jesus the last Adam: His words. And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. (1 Corinthians 15:45.) Jesus is The WORD. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1). The WORD was made flesh, spoken into the earth by God’s words through the mouths of His prophets until the Seed was born through whom all the nations of the earth would be blessed. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.” (Genesis 22:18) Through His words Jesus operated in dominion in the earth. Walked on water, Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear. (Matthew 14:25-26) Spoke to fig trees. And seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it, He found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. In response Jesus said to it, “Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” (Mark 11:13-14) Transcended time. Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going. (John 6:21) WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 13-19 Stilled Storms:
Matthew 8:26 Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.” Mark 4:39AMPC And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness). Raised The Dead: Mark 5:41 Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” John 11:43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” Cast Out Devils: Matthew 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, Matthew 8:31-32 So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.” 32 And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water. (Mark 1:25, Mark 5:8, Mark 9:25, Luke 8:29, Luke 10:18) Healed The Sick: Matthew 4:24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. Matthew 12:15 But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great [a]multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all. (Matthew 8:16, Matthew 12:22, Matthew 15:30, Matthew 19:2, Matthew 21:14, Luke 4:40, Luke 8:48, Luke 9:11, Luke 9:42, Luke 14:4, Luke 22:51.) In Matthew 12:37 He said, “For by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned.” Just before He went to the cross, Jesus stopped speaking and said to His disciples, “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” (John 14:30). Because He only spoke God’s words, the devil had no entrance. Jesus knew the power of God’s WORD over principalities, powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world (Ephesians 6:12). We are to be imitators of Him (Ephesians 5:1). Believing and speaking God’s WORD in prayer, intercession, and daily living is the only way to victory! WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 6 - 12 Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
John 3:34AMPC For since He Whom God has sent speaks the words of God [proclaims God’s own message], God does not give Him His Spirit sparingly or by measure, but boundless is the gift God makes of His Spirit! John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. John 8:47 He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” John 12:48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. John 14:10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. John 17:8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me. |
