HAVE FAITH IN GOD: SPEAK TO THE MOUNTAIN

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 27 – OCTOBER 3

(Mark 11:22-24)
Mark 11:22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.
“Have faith in God,” or have the God kind of faith.
“Have faith in God” is a direct command.  But even bigger, Jesus is not commanding us to use our natural, human faith.  He’s making available to us His faith – THE FAITH OF GOD.  The only correct answer to that command and offer is, “Yes, Sir!  I believe.  I will.  I take it.  I have it.  I thank You, and I forgive” (verse 25).
Jesus is the Author and Finisher (developer) of our faith.  God’s own faith was born into us when we accepted and made Jesus LORD of our lives, and by the work of the Holy Spirit we were born again.  We were born of the Spirit of our Father, of the same seed – the incorruptible seed of the WORD of God – as Jesus, our covenant Brother.
