WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 13-19 Stilled Storms:
Matthew 8:26 Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.” Mark 4:39AMPC And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness). Raised The Dead: Mark 5:41 Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” John 11:43 Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” Cast Out Devils: Matthew 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, Matthew 8:31-32 So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.” 32 And He said to them, “Go.” So when they had come out, they went into the herd of swine. And suddenly the whole herd of swine ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and perished in the water. (Mark 1:25, Mark 5:8, Mark 9:25, Luke 8:29, Luke 10:18) Healed The Sick: Matthew 4:24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. Matthew 12:15 But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great [a]multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all. (Matthew 8:16, Matthew 12:22, Matthew 15:30, Matthew 19:2, Matthew 21:14, Luke 4:40, Luke 8:48, Luke 9:11, Luke 9:42, Luke 14:4, Luke 22:51.) In Matthew 12:37 He said, “For by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned.” Just before He went to the cross, Jesus stopped speaking and said to His disciples, “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me” (John 14:30). Because He only spoke God’s words, the devil had no entrance. Jesus knew the power of God’s WORD over principalities, powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world (Ephesians 6:12). We are to be imitators of Him (Ephesians 5:1). Believing and speaking God’s WORD in prayer, intercession, and daily living is the only way to victory!
