GOD IS INCREDIBLE!

See what [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.

A pastor said that, for years, God had spoken to him on his birthday.  This year God told him. “Tell people of my goodness, my INCREDIBLE goodness.”  He didn’t think much about it because that is what he preached about everywhere he goes.  His wife however, looked up the word incredible, and found out it meant a lot more than he thought.  He remembered that when God spoke that phrase to him, He seemed to emphasize the word incredible.  As he looked at the definition of the word, he realized he really did not understand what it meant.

Here’s what the dictionary says INCREDIBLE means:

Almost impossible to believe, unbelievable, beyond belief, hard to believe, far-fetched, implausible, inconceivable, unthinkable, difficult to believe, extraordinary, magnificent, wonderful, marvelous, spectacular, remarkable, phenomenal, breathtaking, amazing, stunning, astounding, astonishing, awe-inspiring, staggering, formidable, impressive, supreme, great, awesome, superhuman, fantastic, terrific, tremendous, stupendous, mind-boggling, mind-blowing, jaw-dropping, out of this world, far out, wondrous, amazingly good or beautiful.”
