FAITH ACTIVATES THE BLESSING

WEEK OF OCTOBER 4 -10
First John 4:17 says, “in this way God’s love is perfected in us, so that we may have boldness in the Day of judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world.”  God’s faith in us and working through us will do great and mighty things that no one else can do - not the government, or our jobs, education, or position in life.  The God kind of faith will get things done with ease that are impossible to accomplish any other way because our faith comes directly from Jesus.  How?  Faith activates THE BLESSING of the LORD.  Then, by faith, THE BLESSING builds a wall of grace and favor between us and the curse already in this world that’s causing all the pain, death, and suffering.

Jesus redeemed us from the curse.  Galatians 3:13MSG  Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life by absorbing it completely into himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”? That is what happened when Jesus was nailed to the cross: He became a curse, and at the same time dissolved the curse.
