SEED-FAITH PRINCIPLE #1 GOD IS YOUR SOURCE (See SOWING AND REAPING
Part 2) SEED-FAITH PRINCIPLE #2 GIVE, AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN UNTO YOU Let me give you: SOME RULES OF REAPING Jesus declared in Acts 20:35 It is more blessed to give than to receive. A lot of us are not convinced of that. It doesn’t make sense to us. It is contrary to the way we think. Let’s use another word in that verse. Jesus was saying it is more productive to give than to receive. My first Rule of Reaping: Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Why is it more productive to give? Because it gets God involved. Only what we give can be multiplied, not what we receive. Remember the story of the boy who gave Jesus his lunch of five small loaves and two fishes? Jesus fed more than 5,000 with it. The boy’s seed-lunch became seed-faith when he gave it to Jesus. In that story Jesus multiplied the boy’s natural seed and he reaped 12 baskets full. His faith also grew and developed. From that moment on that boy could always remember his seed-faith. When he used it, it grew, developed and multiplied in Jesus’ hands. We must change our thinking and our believing. As you sow you will reap. As you give you will receive. Every successful thing you have accomplished in life started with sowing a seed first. Another Rule of Reaping: 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 But this I say, He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver. What kind of giver? A cheerful giver. He multiplies the seed you have sown. 2 Corinthians 9:10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness Notice the order. It is not reaping and sowing. It is sowing and reaping. He multiplies the seed you have sown. God multiplied the boy’s seed. God multiplied the lunch that he had sown in faith.
