PROSPERITY

Brief Lessons on PROSPERITY

THE LAW OF INCREASE (Part 1)

This is a foundational lesson concerning Tithing, concerning material prosperity, concerning what God’s plan was for us in the earth and how to move in that plan.

God really planned for His people to control the finances of the world.  He told Israel, “If You will do what I command you to do, I will make you above and not beneath.  You will be the head and not the tail and you will lend to many and not borrow.  That’s in Deuteronomy 28:12-13  The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.  And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

Nations will fear you because you are blessed of God.

The Body of Christ is the seed of Abraham.  He fully intended for the Body of Christ to do that.  It’s simple to prove that in the Word of God.  The Bible says, Jesus sat down at the right hand of God, fully expecting His enemies to be made His footstool.  That’s in Matthew 22:44  The LORD said to my Lord, Sit   thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thine footstool?”
Well, is poverty an enemy?  Is lack an enemy?  The Bible says it’s a curse.  Are sickness and disease enemies?

We are going to build a firm foundation for what we are going to study in this teaching.  Take good notes.  Prepare yourselves to hear, decide not to be distracted or disturbed.  It will require a decision on your part because, Satan will try his best to keep you from finding out what we are about to learn.  What we are going to learn is going to make you free of the chokehold Satan has on the finances of the Body of Christ.

Let’s do this:
Close your eyes.  Lift your hands and pray this prayer with me.
God in heaven, I prepare myself now to hear from the Spirit of God.  Jesus, I will hear your voice in my spirit.  In the Name of Jesus, I open my heart and my mind to be a channel of Your Word and of Your blessing.  I make the decision now, I will not be distracted.  I will hear of the Spirit.  In the Name of Jesus.  Amen

Turn to Mark 4
This is the situation:  Jesus had taught at a meeting earlier.  He taught them from a parable, and His disciples and staff wanted Him to teach it to them.  At the close of this teaching (verse 34) it says, “But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.”  He did not leave out anything.

Mark 4:13-20
13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?  Jesus said, if you understand this parable you can understand all of them.  This is the grandfather of all parables, so to speak.
14 The sower soweth the word.
15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard   underline heard.  When they have heard, the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, underline hear
Such as hear the word,
19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear underline hear
Such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
