FAITH-FILLED WORDS DOMINATE
Luke 17:6-10 So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. 7 And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? 8 But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’? 9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I think not. 10 So likewise you, when you have done all those things which you are commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants. We have done what was our duty to do.’ ” When we hold fast to our confession of faith in God’s WORD and say, “It’s mine, I have it now!” faith begins to grow, and satan’s dominion begins to wane. Trouble and circumstances begin to shrink in our eyes. What’s happening? Substance and faith-filled hope are happening. Faith-filled words dominate the laws of sin and death. So when we plant our faith and speak to the sycamore tree from a heart full of faith in God’s WORD, giving it the command to be plucked up by the roots, we fully expect our faith to do the work. We go to bed and get up, and go to bed and get up, praising God for the answer and knowing our servant – faith – is out there, uprooting that tree or removing that mountain: Mark 4:26-29 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.” Mark 11:23-24 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
