HIGHLIGHT #1 WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD!
HIGHLIGHT # 2 GOD CAN NOT LIE! God is always there for those who look for Him with their whole heart. It is this simple: God makes you a promise in His Word, then you BELIEVE what He SAID, then you ASK in FAITH. What happens then? You RECEIVE! A PICTURE OF FAITH Romans 4:18-21NIV Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. NKJV who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. HOW DO WE GET FAITH? Here is a clue. You cannot pray for faith. Hebrews 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. To understand what this verse is talking about, we can look to Mark chapter 4. It is the most important chapter in the Bible. Jesus said in Mark 4:13NLT, “If you can’t understand the meaning of this parable, how will you understand all the other parables? Why is this chapter so important? It is because it tells us how heaven interfaces into the earth realm, how it gains legality, and where it takes place. Nothing is more important to your life than knowing what this whole chapter is talking about. “How does the Kingdom of God operate?” You may ask?” Read Mark chapter 4!” In this chapter, Jesus tells us three parables regarding how faith is produced in the human spirit. Look at THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER Mark 4:3-8 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. MGS: “Listen. What do you make of this? A farmer planted seed. As he scattered the seed, some of it fell on the road and birds ate it. Some fell in the gravel; it sprouted quickly but didn’t put down roots, so when the sun came up it withered just as quickly. Some fell in the weeds; as it came up, it was strangled among the weeds and nothing came of it. Some fell on good earth and came up with a flourish, producing a harvest exceeding his wildest dreams.
