Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Luke 6:38

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:6 When I first learned to cast my cares on the Lord, I was down in south Texas preaching a meeting that no one was coming to. I’m telling you, people were staying away from that meeting by the thousands; and after a service or two with just the preacher, one or two others and me in attendance, I was starting to sweat it. But the Lord said, Cast that care on Me, so I did. I started walking around grinning and whistling. I told the devil, “I’m not going to frown or have one worried thought. I came here to preach and that’s what I’m going to do, and it’s God’s business whether anyone shows up or not. I couldn’t care less!” I went around so happy I felt downright foolish. The devil said, “What’s the matter with you? Don’t you even have sense enough to worry over something like this?” I suppose people were saying, “I guess he’s too dumb to worry. I think it’s because he’s never been to seminary. He can’t tell a landslide from a flop.” But I told the Lord, “I have my care rolled over on You, and if no one shows up but that one dear old woman, she’s going to be the most preached-up old woman in the state of Texas because I’m going to preach just the same as if there were a crowd.” I didn’t realize then what was happening, but that carefreeness put me in a noncompromising position with the devil. He couldn’t get to me anymore. He couldn’t get me in fear and unbelief anymore. He couldn’t pressure me and get me to compromise because I didn’t care. I’d given all my care to God! Are you ready to be free of care? If you are, just make this confession of faith: “I’m a believer. I’m not a doubter. The Word works in me. And at this moment, I humble myself under the mighty hand of God. I cast all my care over on Him. From this moment forward, I refuse to worry. Instead, I will pray. I will use my faith and believe, and He’ll exalt me over the problem and over the devil. For I belong to Jesus and He cares for me!” RELATED Scripture Reading: PSALM 55:16-22 New Living Translation 16 But I will call on God, and the Lord will rescue me. 17 Morning, noon, and night I cry out in my distress, and the Lord hears my voice. 18 He ransoms me and keeps me safe from the battle waged against me, though many still oppose me. 19 God, who has ruled forever, will hear me and humble them. Many Christians have settled for the idea that we are to sow, then kick back and wait for the harvest to roll in. Then, frustration sets in when the harvest doesn’t come, and they say, “How much more can I give?” The truth is, biblical reaping is not automatic. Proverbs 10:4-5 tells us we must not sleep through our harvest and allow it to stand in the field. According to Mark 4:26-29, the Lord has given us the harvesting responsibility. How, then, do we reap our harvests? Our harvest is called in by our words of faith. Isaiah 41:15 (KJV) says, “I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth.” Teeth in the Hebrew is actually the word mouths. The words of your mouth, spoken in faith, are like great combines that go out into the field and bring in the harvest. We also use our words to send ministering angels out into the fields to gather up our harvests (Hebrews 1:14; Matthew 13:39; Psalm 103:20). Don’t wait another minute. Open your mouth, and begin to call in your harvest! Begin with these 7 Confessions To Bring In Your Harvest. 1. Harvest, I speak to you in the Name of Jesus. I command you to come to me now. The Lord said whatever a man sows he shall also reap, so I declare that I am reaping a harvest on every seed sown. Satan, I command you to release your grip on my harvest. It belongs to me! (Galatians 6:7) 2. I am a sower! I am a faithful tither, and I sow into the kingdom of God. Jesus said when I give, it will be given to me—pressed down, shaken together and running over. I receive that into my financial life now in Jesus’ Name. (Luke 6:38) 3. I declare Genesis 26:12 over my life and seed sown. Just as Isaac sowed and reaped a hundredfold the same year, I declare the hundredfold return is actively operating in my life every day in Jesus’ Name. 4. Father, You said that whoever sows righteousness will receive a reward. I declare that where I have sown love, I will receive love. Where I have sown peace, integrity and excellence, I will receive the same harvest. Where I have sown time, money, possessions or encouragement, I declare a harvest on those seeds according to Your Word. (Proverbs 11:18, 28:20) 5. The harvest of my seed has swallowed up my need! 6. Because I am a tither, the windows of heaven are open over me, and I expect to receive in Jesus’ Name! (Malachi 3:10) 7. God, You always honor Your Word. I will not speak words contrary to receiving my harvest. I cast down every thought and imagination that does not agree with what Your Word says about my harvest. Your law of sowing and reaping always works, and it is working in my life now. Thank You, Jesus! (Philippians 4:19) As you speak these 7 Confessions To Bring In Your Harvest, expect to see results! Every seed you’ve ever sown will reap a harvest—no matter how long it has been out there. Think back on all your tithing and sowing. There is a harvest to reap from every single seed, so get your mind on the harvest. Don’t leave spiritual crops in the field. If you haven’t thought of yourself as a harvester until now, start thinking of yourself that way. Roll up your spiritual sleeves and get to work. You know the rules of reaping and how to reap your harvest. Now it’s harvest time! Jeremiah 33:9
And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it. PRIORITIES OF PROSPERITY
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:24 God isn’t against your having money. He’s against money having you. He’s against your making it your priority and putting your trust in it instead of in Him. Why? Because He knows money makes a lousy god. Its power is limited. It will only buy so much. It will only go so far. If you need healing from an incurable disease, money won’t help you at all. If your family is falling apart, money won’t mend it. But if you’ll seek God first, His prosperity will reach into every area of your life. God is so generous that He desires you to have the best on this earth, just as you desire the best for your children. His plan is for you to have all of your needs met according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Get in on that plan by keeping your priorities straight. Seek Him first and His righteousness. Make pleasing God your No. 1 priority. Set your eyes on Him above all else and all these things will be added to you. Scripture Reading: Mark 10:17-27 The Rich Man17 As Jesus was starting out on his way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to him, knelt down, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good. 19 But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat anyone. Honor your father and mother.’[a]” 20 “Teacher,” the man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.” 21 Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” 22 At this the man’s face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions. 23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God!” 24 This amazed them. But Jesus said again, “Dear children, it is very hard[b] to enter the Kingdom of God. 25 In fact, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” 26 The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked. 27 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” Gloria Copeland 7 CONFESSIONS TO BRING IN YOUR HARVEST

When you consistently seek God with your whole heart, it is impossible to lack in anything good thing. To diligently seek and obey God, yet lack in a good thing, means God lied. And it is impossible for God to lie. So, if you are lacking something in your life, it’s time to evaluate your heart. You may think you are waiting for God to give you good things, but in reality He is waiting for you to seek Him and give yourself to Him with a whole heart. God is eager and willing to give His children every good thing, but it is up to you to qualify for the promise. You have to position yourself to receive it. Psalm 31:19 NKJV declares, “How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.” The good things of God remain stored up until you put yourself in a position to receive them. And the only way to get into that position is by seeking God and His will for your life. When you seek God, He will speak the words you need to hear. He will tell you how to change the way you think about certain matters. He will show how to walk in greater wisdom and success. As you trust in His goodness and walk in obedience, you will move into position to receive the good things that are stored up for you. So stop waiting on God. He is waiting on you. His goodness is available and ready to be poured out on you if you will seek Him with your whole heart. Confession: I make the decision today to position myself to receive all of the good things God has prepared just for me. As I seek God with my whole heart, I will allow Him to direct my thinking so that I can walk in greater wisdom and success according to the promises in His Word. THE GRACE OF GIVING Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. 2 Corinthians 8:7 How do you give to the Lord? Do you just drop some money in the plate at church without much thought? Or do you just write a check to God at the first of every month and pay Him like you pay all your other bills? You need to think about that because how you give is a matter of deep concern to God. He’s particular about how offerings are given. He won’t receive just any old thing however you feel like giving it. In Malachi, for example, God refused to receive Israel’s offerings. They were bringing Him their defective animals, their blind calves and the injured ones they couldn’t do anything else with—and God said it offended Him. He told them, “You don’t have any reverence or honor for Me, and I’m not going to accept your offering.” That kind of thing didn’t die out after the book of Malachi. Many today don’t have any reverence for God at offering time. People wait for the preacher to beat them over the head until they feel so guilty they have to reach down in their pocketbooks and get some money out. But I want you to know, that’s offensive to God. In fact, He spoke directly to a friend of mine about it. The statement He made to her so impressed me, I wrote it down word for word. It grieves Me when the Church takes offerings, He told her. I said to worship Me. Don’t take from the people, but let them bring their gifts and worship Me. Then they will see the fruits of their giving. If you and I want God to be pleased with our offerings, we’re going to have to do what the Apostle Paul wrote about in 2 Corinthians 8:7. We’re going to have to learn to “excel in this grace of giving” (New International Version). We’re going to have to quit being casual about it and to learn to give with faith and reverence in worship. Next time the offering plate is passed, don’t just drop your gift carelessly in the plate. Get serious. Determine to obey God. Worship Him with your money and be thankful. He’ll do more than simply receive it, He’ll open the windows of blessing for you. From Faith to Faith—Daily Devotional Gloria Copeland Scripture Reading: Malachi 1:1-14 As Your Soul Prospers
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. 3 John 2 Once you begin to believe it is God's will to prosper you, you can't help but wonder how He is going to do it. Is He going to put a check in the mail? Or start floating $20 bills down from the trees? No. He's going to do it by prospering your soul. He's going to plant the seeds of prosperity in your mind, will and emotions, and as they grow, they'll produce a great financial harvest. Go to the book of Genesis and read the story of Joseph. It's a perfect demonstration of what I'm talking about. When Joseph was sold as a slave to the Egyptians, he didn't have a dime to his name. He didn't even have his freedom. He'd been sold as a slave. But, right in the middle of his slavery, God gave Joseph such wisdom and ability that he made his owner prosper. As a result, the man put Joseph in charge of all his possessions. Later, Joseph was put in prison. There's really not much opportunity for advancement in prison, is there? But God gave him insight that no other man in Egypt had. That insight landed him a position on Pharaoh's staff. Not as a slave but as the most honored man in the entire country next to Pharaoh himself. He rode along in a chariot and people literally bowed down before him. During a worldwide famine, Joseph was in charge of all the food. Now that's prosperity! How did God accomplish all that? By prospering Joseph's soul. No matter how dismal his situation became, no matter how impossible his problems, God was able to reveal the spiritual secrets that would open the door of success for him. That's what makes God's method of prospering so exciting. It works anywhere and everywhere. It will work in the poorest countries on the face of this earth just like it works here in the United States. And you can be sure that it will work for you!
