You can enter into the realm of “All Things are Possible” when you plant your seed of faith!
In Matthew 17:20 the Lord was referring to the need of the little boy He had just healed, as being like a mountain. A mountain can be any type of need. It can be anything bad in your life. The mountain can represent any impossibility. Jesus was saying that if we make our faith a seed, i.e. -Something that we do, -Something that we plant... beyond just planting… -Something that we sow in faith, on purpose, aimed for a desired result it can grow and become a mighty force against our needs! For example, some people believe that all you have to do is speak to the mountain and it will remove. But let’s look at Mark 11:22-26 regarding speaking to the mountain: 22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. 25 “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses. First it says have faith in God, then it says speak to the mountain, tell it to leave, and it also says forgive. It all begins with a seed. No harvest can begin without a seed being sown. Whether it is a seed of our faith, our attitude, our compassion, or our finances, we must start somewhere and give God something to work with. Plant your seed first and then you have a right to speak to your mountain and tell it to leave. What if it doesn’t leave at that precise moment? Galatians 6:9 says, And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. The King James says, And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Growing seed is not instantaneous. There is a process. But eventually (or in God’s due season) the Word of God can prevail. Notice THE PROCESS of using your seed faith: 1. Plant your seed out of a believing heart. 2. Speak to your mountain of need and tell it to BE REMOVED. You “SAY THE WORD” for it to move. 3. You must fully believe (no doubt) for the mountain to obey your word of faith, and according to God’s Word, it is required to obey! What are the results? When you DO EXACTLY what God’s Word says and believe in faith, Jesus concludes, NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE UNTO YOU! When you plant your seeds of faith, then you can enter into the realm of “All things are possible!”
